Impacts of CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

IMPACTS OF CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC..

There are various kinds of regular and long term impacts which might be positive or negative. On the other hand it affect different group of society on different basis.
All around the world, lockdown considered as the primacy solution to this PANDEMIC.
And lockdown is the reason of positive and negative aspects of the pandemic.

Also the lethal disease N-COVID19 has only the negative impact upon the humanity.
But we can also learn something from the pandemic like strengthening of health sector so that in foreseeable future we must be firm to defend these kind of unpredicted situations.
Let's look at some of the impacts due to Lockdown which is due to the PANDEMIC.

1. Positive
       A.)

The picture itself explaining the quality improvement in air.

Environment is fully benefited from lockdown. The air quality improved at its best level. Remember the situation of cities during last Diwali, the air quality was worst and government was trying to improve the air quality or reduce the pollution via various schemes like odd even etc.

A bitter truth is that when the air is pure we got the mask on our face.

B). Pollution
Any kind of pollution is reduced during the Lockdown period e.g:- water, air(as mentioned above), soil etc..
The water of Yamuna river has started looking like water. According to the report of Delhi jal board (DJB) due to complete reduction of industrial pollutants in River the self purification of River has improved.
The DO level increases in River and the biochemical oxygen demand, (the parameter of measuring water quality) is improved.
Keep in mind that this change in the scenario of pollution is not so appreciable because many industries are working during the Lockdown also which constitutes upto 60% of pollution in environment.

C). Technology
As Lockdown keeps everyone at home so many employees work from home and experiencing something different and this might be more effective too because subsequent to Lockdown if they continue to work from home the environment would be pollution free.
And many online meeting apps came into action, online teaching is promoted etc..
The introduction of jio mart is really impressive, through this many local shopkeepers can get more opportunity to expand their business.
The introduction of government's app to track the trails of virus spreading.

D). Family time and introspection
Everyone is at home and having a plenty of time to talk with parents ,chlidren and learning some new ethics.
Also sone people are learning new skills which would help them in their proffesional career.

2.) Negative

We can count as many as negative impacts of the Lockdown, on counting from the lives of poor to rich everyone is affected.

Let us know some of the major and more effective impacts.

A). Economy

All world is the stage of recession means a temporary period of Economy slowdown.

The GDP of mostly all the countries has been reduced by 4-8% for 3 months.

The IMF slashed India's growth estimate for the financial year 2021 to 1.9% from 5.8% estimated in January.

Until the vaccine is developed, no country is safe also the IMF urged countries to work together to find a permanent solution.

The environment and economy are inversely proportional to each other.

Global economy to be the worst hit since the great depression.

And the situation is so worse that the GDP growth rates are estimated in negative e.g. Germany's growth rate predicted in negative of 10%.

B). Poverty and Employment

Due to the global recession, youth is losing jobs and the poverty might be at its peak because subsequent to Lockdown people won't get a job easily and everyone will seek employment to earn living. After some time the government won't eke out people needs.

Already in USA 4 lakhs youth registered as unemployed. The White House told that the jobless rate in the USA could spike to 16% to 20% by June.

Daily wage workers will be most affected because, until the permanent solution of the virus, there would be a curb on migration.

The normal lives of people are also affected, some might feel health disorders due to Lockdown. Not able to go to a gym or school or coaching centre.

The situation of students is also not good, they are perplexed about their incomplete exams and about getting college admission dates.

Help the people those who need and stay together by following guidelines issued by government for safety, have patience with will to survive healthy and fit.
