Boycott China: Analysis

Can India boycott Chinese products? Can world boycott Chinese products? Can we stop using Chinese products?
It is easy to say that we (Indian) would give a befitting reply to China by boycotting their products. It is as much hard as it looks impressive to teach a lesson to China.

First of all, it is important to know some basic strategies that the Chinese industries are following and were supported by their government too.

Chinese Dominance
It is well known that China has a huge Economy and does large scale productions.
China dominates the markets or various countries, because of their low-cost products and the Chinese industries get support from their government too.


China's ONE BELT ONE ROAD project is their economic and strategic agenda by which the two ends of Eurasia, as well as Africa and Oceania, are being connected closely.

Ways in which China subdues:

1. Dumping of Products
    
   It means Chinese companies make more and more products and they sell their products at low cost due to which people prefer Chinese products and other local industries desists.

These Chinese companies get export subsidies from China's government to export more and more products, they don't hesitate and don't care if their company is in loss because after some time that would definitely gain profit as they become indispensable.

The cases of dumping the products by Chinese companies into other countries are proliferating, e.g.; in Australia, it is reported that Chinese companies are dumping steel and aluminium.

Many countries have increased taxes on the Chinese products that they are dumping.
 India must be profoundly vigilant and must have detailed information about China's import and export strategies.


2. Currency Manipulation
    
     It means that countries lower down the value of their currency so that they can export product at a cheaper rate.

The US referred to China as a currency manipulator due to which China can export more products to other countries.
 
3. Technological Theft

   You might be surprised to know that there is no Facebook, Instagram, You tube or any other social media site in china, which are used everywhere but not in China. They have clones of all these apps e.g: Alibaba is the copy of Amazon, 

If any company wants to establish their business in China then they have sell their technology to them.
That is rules and regulations are completely biased in favor of their own companies.

It is estimated that the US faces a loss of 300-600 billion dollars annually due to China's IP THEFT actions.

All these kinds of unfair trade practices of China are the adversities for other developing and underdeveloped countries. The reason behind the US-CHINA trade war was these unfair trade practices. The trade war had many negative impacts and opportunities for various countries.

India's Degrading Democracy and Freedom

There are always some kind of conflicts between India and China. Both the countries are powerful in each and every category: economically strong; strong defence system; good resources; developed technology and many more. What is the issue?
